Sweaty Palms and Herbal Remedies

Filed under: Herbal Remedies — Shirley @ 10:35 am

Palmer Hyperhydrosis is more commonly known as sweaty palms to you and me. Everyone has had sweaty palms at some time whether you have been waiting for results of exams or after a workout but how many of us know it can be a problem to a large amount of the population to the point where they have to avoid shaking hands or greeting people. This is due to the physical body trying to lose some of its excess fluid and can cause great embarrassment to the person shaking hands and to the recipient who has to feel the wet hand.

Most people do not realise there is medical cause for the sweating of their hands or other parts of their body they tend to put up with it and try to alleviate the sweating by using deodorants or powders but this can be to the extreme as the hands dry up and cracks appear in the skin.

There are Herbal Remedies that can be used as Home Remedies such as St. Johns Wort, Valerian Root and Kava Kava. It may take a little time to find the one that is suitable for you so don’t worry if you have to try a few.
There is also the chemist and they can provide over the counter drugs although do read the ingredients as they can have side effects. If you decide that both herbal and over the counter products are not suitable it is advisable that you visit your doctor for a prescription medication.
