Sea Buckthorn Berry the Natural Cosmetic

Filed under: Home Remedies — Robert @ 12:53 pm

You can help your skin and stay looking younger by looking at vitamins that will help to protect the skin.
Skin protection is found in using the pulp of the Sea Buckthorn Berry that has been used by herbalists for years and is now emerging as one of the modern bio-active substances that can be found in the oil from the seed and the pulp.  It is often used for creams and sun care products.

It has been used in research as an indicator that the products including creams that are used in dermatological clinics are helping with the regeneration of skin cells.  This has the effect of healing wounds and building up the skin tissue.

Sea buckthorn has beta-carotene in it which is a reddish colour so beware if using the cream as a tanning lotion unless you reduce the strength you will end up looking like a tangerine. There is a large cosmetic industry marketing the Herbal Remedies that can be useful in anti-aging creams, however, it is possible to use the herb on its own as one of your own Home Remedies .

If you are buying any product, check the ingredients and use a skin test on yourself if unsure of any allergic reactions.

  1. My wife started buying products with Sea Buckthorn in them because she has sensitive skin and she has not had any problems. In fact, her skin has become clearer since she started using these products.
