Marigold the Herbal Remedy
The history of this herbal plant is that it was native to Europe and the Mediterranean, cultivated for its medicinal properties. It’s widely known as Calendula which is taken from the Latin name Kalandae.
This annual plant has wide green leaves and its flowers are orange or yellow in colour. Some of the plants properties consist of it being antiseptic, antifungal, and non-tannin astringent and has uses as a detoxifying herbal plant.

It heals any fungal infections in the vagina and if used orally it can help in the repair of an inflamed digestive system.
Combining Marigold with other healing herbal remedies:
Using Calendula and mixing it with Geranium or Chondrus will help to soothe cuts and bruises.
If you mix Hydrastis and Commiphora with Marigold, it becomes a lotion with antiseptic properties. (Keep in a dark bottle)
