Ayurveda, the healing garden from India
Ayurveda is from the country of India and in Sanskrit language it means ‘when broken up’. Ayur is life and Veda is scientific scripture and the medicines are based on the Indians knowledge regarding to herbal plants that can heal the physical body.
In the west there is a modern therapy called ‘Allopath’ which has broken away from traditional teachings and due to this fact it is reported that in the city of Prune they are creating a garden with Ayurveda in mind with medicinal plants. They are hoping to take care of new small herbs with the thought of the years ahead that they will be able to teach about herbs and their role in future Herbal Remedies.
When visitors arrive at the garden there will be education available about the herbs required to start their own herbal remedies and in time with the knowledge they gain, they will be able to heal minor ailments without the cost that is incurred over the counter. One of the new plants called ‘Guggal’ has the reputation to potentially cure diabetes and this plant or herb will be cultivated with hundreds of other herbs in the new garden.
Situated in the garden is a library of reference books on herbs which are already cross referenced with the gardens herbal plants and their use as Home Remedies .
