Aphrodisiacs and food, do they work?

Filed under: Aphrodisiacs — Shirley @ 3:11 pm

In the seventeenth century and if the old wives tales are anything to go by, oysters or asparagus are the ones to turn you on and to excite your partners taste buds by making your blood pressure rise.

Food has always been considered the way to a mans stomach but if the stomach in question is allergic to oysters or asparagus there could be trouble and any time spent in the kitchen cooking or romantic music playing in the background will be wasted

The woman, or dare I say women, in a mans life will love them to buy chocolate especially truffles as they are said to have the same attraction as oysters for the men. Now I know why those piggies are always looking in the forest undergrowth for the truffles. One thing is sure if I have to choose between Oysters and chocolate especially chocolate truffles, well I know which is for me.

According to various written articles, there is more romance in the rumours and no-one wants to spoil tales from the past.

Other aphrodisiac food and herbs are listed below that are recommended, always according to the palate of course.

Basil & thyme
Strawberries
Honey
Chillies
