A ‘cuppa’ tea for Asthma sufferers

Filed under: Home Remedies — Robert @ 9:40 am

Asthma is a chronic ailment which is kept under control by prescription and these are given to patients by their doctor as there can be serious breathing conditions for the asthma sufferer if it is not kept under control and can result in death, although thankfully this is quite rare nowadays.

However, there are a wide range of medicines and nebulizers in the medical market and finding the right one that is suitable can also be costly, therefore a cure for people suffering with this condition is of high importance.

There is a cup of tea that seems to be having a positive effect on patients, and the tea in question is Chamomile, a herb that gives relief due to terponoids which can act as a base for the chest conditions as it can act as an ant-inflammatory when the tea is drunk.

The Chinese have been using another herbal remedy called Astragulus which also has anti-inflammatory properties which helps the immune system to strengthen and this will prevent the allergies from causing the asthma attack that can occur at any time.

There are other Herbal Remedies such as Lobelia and Nettle that can help with respiratory problems that can be used as a home remedy.

If you are going to try a nice ‘cuppa’ it is advisable to inform your doctor.
